shingles are for roofs

But not for backs!

Unfortunately, I have somehow contracted the dreaded virus so please excuse me if I'm not posting for a little while.I don’t feel inclined to do any crafting. Sad smile

I am, however, keeping myself busy with family history research. Computer

I'll spare you photos of my back! Winking smile

See you soon! Be right back

  1. Nasty. Hope they go soon. I remember dad was told by doctor many years ago to take medicine, pain killers etc but also to eat lots of greens. And then some more.

    Get plenty of rest too.

  2. Ouch! It must be bad if you can't craft. I heard there will be a shingles jab available soon. I will definitely have it as my chicken pox was very bad as a child.

  4. OH...NO! Just got the orders from doctor to get the shot for this. I hear it is quite painful and hope your case is mild. Think soothing thoughts and hang in there.

  8. Hoping you recover quickly Lynne, Shingles was not an experience I would like to repeat :-( Take care of yourself and do medicate for the pain, which can be really weird pain. Apparently pushing on through it with no pain meds can make it be a problem later, can't remember where I saw that, but it was something about the nerve endings getting hyperactive if not moderated by pain meds. Check with your practitioner.
