DRALION

Today we saw Dralion, the "Cirque de Soleil" performance currently touring Australia. It was brilliant. The lights, the costumes, the colours, the music, the dancing, the acrobatic performances! All fantastic.

Words cannot describe the awesomeness of this production and television can never do it justice. You can, however, view a preview at this site. It may come up with The Whitlams advertising but press the button that says "Cirque de Soleil" [on the right] and you'll get the correct video.

If you've never been to a live performance of Cirque de Soleil, do yourself a favour [to borrow a phrase from Ian "Molly" Meldrum] and go out and buy some tickets!

Do you think I liked it!!? LOL

And on the knitting front - what's on the needles?
1. a blanket - I've knitted about 13% [approx 17,500 stitches] of the blanket over the last three days; much of it on Friday night
2. a man's beanie which I started on the train this afternoon [there's nearly always a beanie for charity on my needles; they're so quick and easy]
3. one sock waiting to be grafted and have its mate started

And, before I go - check out Google's daily motif for the Olympics. Was that Dolores or Sheepish Annie on the bicycle yesterday? And today's mouse weight-lifter was so cute!
