scrap storage system

  • When facing a piece of scrap fabric smaller than a fat eighth, squares are cut, starting with 5". The remaining fabric is cut into strings or crumbs.
  • Triangles generally come from left over pieces of projects, or from pieces cut off from works in progress.
  • Crumbs are any piece of fabric smaller than 2" but larger than 1". Anything smaller than that goes in the bin!
