MY hotmail account was hacked overnight (Australian time) and everyone with whom I have corresponded over several years was sent spam emails.
PLEASE DO NOT OPEN ATTACHMENTS THAT PURPORT TO COME FROM ME -- I DIDN'T SEND THEM!

Hi Lynne, I could tell just by looking that they hadn't come from you. I had several this morning, all about making money. I deleted them without opening. I've always checked right through inbox before opening and anything vaguely out of the ordinary is deleted on the spot.

ReplyDeleteI got those emails and did not open them. I also got one from someone else with the same stuff. Don't people have better things to do.
ReplyDeleteHi Lynne! I saw your blog title in my side bar, headed to my blog email and deleted it unopened. Now, don't feel too badly, I know at least 20 people from one message board group who have been hacked this year alone. A lot of people visit groups, snag their email list and are off and running with their initial list, I suspect. Good luck with all of the hassles you are going through because of this.
