I really enjoyed the push to do something old (goodness knows my UFO list needs it) but most months I didn't really do something new. Or if I did, it was just starting another t-shirt quilt - hardly "something new" as a concept. But like the others said - thanks for hosting! It was a good year, even if everything didn't get done.Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15494557452802595536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6590689044094137272.post-3364963855238143452014-12-03T00:19:00.785+11:002014-12-03T00:19:00.785+11:00It's always good to try new things and see if ...It's always good to try new things and see if they work. If it doesn't you still learn something and that's what life is all about, including your blogging life. I've enjoyed the something old, something new posts, but have to admit my linked blogs have been based on what I actually did that I can shoe horn into the old, new categories. But writing those posts always gave me insight into what I was working on. So thanks for hosting the linky. I often don't join other bandwagons unless it was a project I want to be in my lineup of things to do NOW. I know it can be fun to join others but it is also fun to just enjoy the process and our own projects to seeing them to completion.
please blog if you can. would greatly miss you if you didnt. it was a busy busy year that just flew by for sure! I swear there were less hours......I just KNOW it!sewyouquilt2https://www.blogger.com/profile/07422106403699477143noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6590689044094137272.post-23678486550930735692014-12-02T13:04:59.541+11:002014-12-02T13:04:59.541+11:00I completely understand. Go with what makes your heart sing and throw the old things you no longer feel like doing in the trash! Ahhh, freedom to flit is sweet! I love to see what you do...whatever makes you happy is good!Delighted Handshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01289187765260532813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6590689044094137272.post-26378365109766019492014-12-02T12:57:53.980+11:002014-12-02T12:57:53.980+11:00Like you, I fell off the wagon pretty quickly in t...Like you, I fell off the wagon pretty quickly in the beginning of the year - although I loved the concept. Sometimes we fit into the box, and other times we don't. I think the important thing is to satisfy that creative urge and learn something new in the processs....about ourselves, or a new technique.
Sorry that I haven't kept up the linking, I was just getting so scattered the last few months.
